How to Care for Your Drawmade Golf Ball Stamp

To ensure your custom mark stays sharp, crisp, and tour-ready for hundreds of rounds, here is your essential guide to proper care, re-inking, and storage.

• 01 | Uncap & Position: Open the cover and place the stamp upright on a flat surface, with the stamping face pointing upwards.
• 02 | Apply Ink: Gently squeeze the ink bottle to apply 2–3 drops of ink directly and evenly onto the surface of the stamp design.
• 03 | Wait & Wipe: Let the stamp sit for about 10–15 minutes to allow the ink to absorb fully. Then, gently wipe away any excess ink from the non-design surface using a clean paper towel.
• 04 | Ready for the Tee: Your stamp is now fully recharged and ready for continued use on your next sleeve of balls!

• Clean the Ball First: Ensure the golf ball surface is completely dry and free of grass, dirt, or morning dew before stamping.
• The "Rock & Roll" Motion: Do not just press straight down. Because a golf ball is spherical, gently rock the stamp from side to side in a slight rolling motion to ensure the ink transfers perfectly into the dimples.
• Let it Cure: Although our ink is quick-drying, we recommend letting the stamped balls sit for 1–2 minutes before tossing them into your bag or hitting them with a club.

• Keep the Cap On: This is the golden rule. Always recap your stamp tightly immediately after use. Exposure to air will cause the quick-drying ink to harden on the stamp surface, clogging the fine details of your design.
• Cleaning the Face: If grass blades or dirt particles get stuck on the stamp, never scrape it with sharp metal tools. Instead, use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol to gently dab the surface clean.
• Avoid Harsh Elements: Keep your stamp away from solvents, heavy grease, or gasoline (often found in golf cart maintenance areas), as these will degrade the specialized stamping pad.

• Avoid Extreme Heat: Never leave your stamp in your golf bag inside the trunk of your car during hot summer days. Excessive heat will dry out the internal ink reservoir prematurely and may distort the casing.
• Store It Upright: Keep your stamp in a cool, dry place, ideally stored upright in your golf bag pocket or the original Drawmade protective box.
• Separate Your Gear: Keep the stamp away from loose tees, ball markers, or divot tools in your pocket to prevent accidental scratches to the stamping surface.
